Homoromantic poetry from South Asia, West Asia, North Africa and Al Andalus

From the 8th century to the 19th century, poets from India, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco and other countries from the WANASA region and Al-Andalus wrote homoerotic and homoromantic poetry in addition to heteroerotic and heteroromantic poetry. The poets were men and women, they came from different social classes, and wrote in a variety of languages, including Arabic, Hebrew, Kurdish and Persian.
