A Panda's Day (Part 2)

I got the idea for the panda-pushing scene when I was visiting someone who subscribed to China channels on cable TV. My hosts were watching a program about captive-born pandas being released back into the wild.

Bunch of guys in a truck drove the panda up into the mountains. They let the panda out but it was just sitting on its butt and not going anywhere. After sitting with the panda for a while, one of the guys pushed it gently on the shoulder and said, "Leave already! It's getting dark. We need to get home."

The panda righted itself like a roly-poly toy. :-) Eventually, it went off into the woods, and the Chinese guys went home.
